Susan MacIntyre

Hello,

My name is Susan and I passed my driving test at 17, first time lucky.

Obviously being the best driver in the world I was invincible on every road on which I drove, Until of course I discovered that putting lipstick on when driving round a corner in bare feet wasn't a good idea.

One lucky write off and two speeding SP30s later, my licence was revoked and it was then I realised that maybe my driving wasn't as wonderful as I first thought.

After this I had to pass not only my driving test again, but my theory test as well, after having to re-apply for my licence from scratch. I was then pointed in the direction of the IAM.

I passed my IAM Advanced test and am now on the Committee as the Group's Young Driver Liaison, as well as training to be an Observer.

I want to be part of the IAM because I want to help promote safer driving to give safer roads within Fife.
