I’m Martin and currently live in Kinross, although I spent my formative years in Fife and my business has been in Fife since 1984.
I became an Associate in 2004, was recommended to Membership in August 2004, became a Group Observer in 2005 and graduated to a Senior Observer in August 2007.
I am thoroughly enjoying my journey in IAM and still enjoy the challenges that it presents. I have met a lot of great friends and ridden loadz of safer miles.
I am privileged to have such great fellow Observers in the same team and also to have Sandy as my fellow Senior Observer. Sandy is a well-kent face and a well respected biker in the Fife motorcycling fraternity.
I am positive we will provide you with an exciting and friendly approach to Advanced Motorcycling and we are all keen to prove we are NOT members of the slipper, bearded, pipe smoking brigade that IAM, have in the past, been wrongly labelled as.
If we can make you think about your riding and get you to ride safely then you will be able to go for another ride tomorrow.
If we can make you a rider that isn’t wiping beads of sweat of your brow when you remove your helmet in the café car park then we’ve succeeded.
If you are not on my side of the road when I am coming the other way tomorrow, then we will both be able to share our biking experiences with each other.
If we can make you one of the first in the lay-by without the ‘beads’ then we’ve succeeded…… and we can…… so give us a try.
