Hi, my name is Kenny Wilson. I am the Associate Liaison for the motorcycle section and acting Chairman for the Group. I live in East Wemyss in Fife and was a member of the Kingdom Fife Group back in 1987 when I sat my advanced car test. I sat my advanced bike test a good few years later, and after hearing that Fife wanted to start a motorcycle section, I decided to come back to the group to help out.
I have my own business, Wm Anderson Engineering Ltd in Kirkcaldy. We specialise in the reconditioning of engines including surface grinding cylinder heads, re-boring and crankshaft grinding etc. So I guess my hobbies will be obvious, bikes, cars, nuts and bolts.
I wanted to take my bike riding to the next level and trained as an Observer, so that I could pass on the skills I had learned, to others. When the bike section is a bit quieter in the winter months, I enjoy Observing for the car section. It’s warmer, drier, and helps to keep the skills honed over the winter. I am happy to be part of the Fife Observer team promoting safer driving, and riding in Fife and beyond.
