By purchasing an IAM Skill For Life package you have taken the first step towards making your driving or riding a safer and more enjoyable experience.
So what happens next ?
When you receive your Skill for Life Package from IAM Head Office, along with your book you will receive a triplicate Enrolment form. Complete this and you retain the Pink copy. The White and Green copies need to be sent to the Kingdom Of Fife Group (KOFG) Membership Secretary, along with an Associate Membership Form (click to download). Once completed, simply post all of these together to the address shown at the bottom of the Associate Membership Form.
You will also receive a Test Application Form - just hold onto this for now and keep it in a safe place. This will be completed and sent to IAM when you are ready to sit your Advanced Test.
Once registered, your name will be placed on the Associate Member list and you will be allocated to the next available Observer. This will be done by the Chief Observer (for cars) or Motorcycle Associate Liaison (for Motorcycles).
So go ahead, post those forms, and you will soon be working your way toward a much safer system of driving or riding, with care and responsibility. We look forward to meeting you soon.
